Message from the Principal

Welcome to Reagan Early College High School’s website! I am Anabel Garza the very proud Principal of an innovative, life changing and up and coming high school.  We are a community school with strong emphasis on family and higher education. The varied academic opportunities we offer allow students to earn an associate’s degree while earning a high school diploma, saving our families thousands of dollars.
In the Fall of 2017, Reagan ECHS In partnership with Austin Community College (ACC) and Dell Technologies (Dell) and in response to the need in computer and information technology will open Career Launch. Career Launch is an innovative program aligned with industry needs and providing applied learning opportunities for students. Beginning with 50 9th grade students in 2017-18 and adding a grade level each year, Reagan ECHS Computer and Information Technology Innovative Academy (Academy) will improve post-secondary degree completion and career readiness by smoothing transitions between high school, college, and the professional world. Career Launch will provide students with early and engaging experiences with the world of work, making academic work more relevant and meaningful and better preparing students with workplace skills required by employers.
Parents, although we have great programs for students, they can only benefit by being here every day. I want to thank you for ensuring that our Raiders are at school every day and on time. Sometimes just being there is the difference between success and failure. Continue to support literacy in the home.   Make sure your student has a quiet place to complete homework and read. Our goal is to have our students reading every day and improving on their comprehension and building vocabulary.

Our wide variety of extracurricular activities and clubs offer something for every student.  We encourage our students to join clubs and participate in this important part of high school life.  An involved student is a successful student. Encourage your student to get involved.  Specific Information about our many programs is located throughout our website.  Please visit our site often as we continuously update our site. If you would like to visit our campus, please call the main office to arrange a tour, or to speak with school staff.  Have a great year!

Anabel Garza
